… and that’s a WRAP on Summer Program 2023! It’s hard to believe we’re typing that!
We have packed it ALL in … and we mean ALL! This week was no exception!…. from nature walking to a trip to the Elmvale Zoo, from bowling to celebrating summer birthdays, from lunch at Wendy’s to a beautiful stroll by the Collingwood Grain Elevators … well done, summer, well done indeed!
We hope you enjoy your holiday, and we will SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER!

Nature makes the BEST jewelry, so we decided to go for a walk and put it on display! Thanks for the idea, @camplinssandhill7farm ! You can’t take the program out of the assistant program director! 🙂🌿🌸🪻🍁🌱.

… we certainly did NOT allow a wee COVID setback

… we certainly did NOT allow a wee COVID setback to dampen our program this week! We pivoted seamlessly to our amazing virtual program and CARRIED ON!!!!!!! The first photo is a glimpse into the dining room table turned office space of an EFL program facilitator for virtual program … lol … there’s truly one of EVERYTHING on the table! The last video is a clip from our Talent Show … each song handpicked by our participants with a chance to self-express and display their talents …. It’s the VERY BEST❤️. In between was yet another highlight: caricature art taught by EFL’s own Cruella Deville, AND a Barbies/KENS appearance! 🥳 what a week!

Your musical talent surpasses all … but more than that … you are just the best human. You have embraced us, our program, you encourage us to be ourselves and to rock our talents …. and you absolutely SLAY in our EFL swag! This afternoon’s concert was such a magical musical CELEBRATION! THANK YOU!

… we ended our week at King’s Wharf Theatre in Penetanguishine, where we were completely AWED by Drayton Theatre Company’s performance of Fiddler On The Loose. Like …. AWED. The cast of musicians was otherworldly! And so gracious, coming out to meet and spend some time with us post-performance!
